Female suspect wanted in Edmonton armed robbery

EPS are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a female suspect responsible for a recent armed robbery at a southeast mall clothing outlet store.

At approximately 8:00 pm on July 20, a female suspect entered a clothing outlet store near 50 Street and 98 Avenue.

It was reported to police that the female selected items from the store, then placed them into a shopping basket.

Prior to leaving the store, the female suspect was approached by staff, at which time she pulled out a firearm and threatened to shoot them. She left the store with the stolen property at approximately 8:20 pm, before fleeing the mall parking lot in a 1996-2000 red Honda Civic Coupe being driven by a male get-away driver.
