Snoop Dogg will be participating in this year’s Olympics by carrying the Olympic torch. He is set to parade the flame through Paris ahead of the opening ceremony on Friday.
Expressing his excitement on social media, Snoop Dogg posted several articles as he prepares for the prestigious role.
“U gots to do it!!” Snoop Dogg wrote in an emoji-filled Instagram caption. “Will u be watchin??”
Joining him in this ceremonial event will be French actress Letitia Casta and French rapper MC Solaar.
Officials still have to announce the name of the final torchbearer for the games, this is the person who lights the cauldron to begin the games on the Siene River on Friday night.
