Rain, rain…please stay!

From the looks of it, it seems a lot more smoky than the past few days, you look out the window and thee is poor visibility. You go outside that when you can really feel it, and most of all, smell it

Today we will have a high of 17° at 2 PM and a low of 13° closer to midnight for a much cooler night compared to what we have been having. Throughput the day there will be light rain, which could be of great help due to all the wildfires in the province.

We are under an air quality advisory. Wildfire smoke is causing or expected to cause very poor air quality and reduced visibility. Yesterday there was a thunderstorm warning, thankfully that has been taken down and it is just light rain throughout the day and regular rain overnight.

Make sure to put out your rain barrels so they get filled!

Air quality and visibility due to wildfire smoke can fluctuate over short distances and can vary considerably from hour to hour

Dense smoke will worsen air quality in Northern Alberta in the coming days, with Southern Alberta possibly affected by smoke from British Columbia. Residents in fire-prone areas are advised to prepare a grab-and-go kit in case of evacuations.
