Man charged after firing gun in Sherwood Park storage yard

A 53-year-old man has been charged following an incident involving a firearm at a storage yard in Sherwood Park. According to the Alberta RCMP, the man, identified as Marc McGill, fired multiple rounds on July 21 after a confrontation. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

McGill has been taken into custody and faces several charges, including careless use of a firearm, possession of a restricted firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and discharging a firearm with intent. He is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow.

The RCMP are continuing their investigation into the incident.
