Firearms and sheriff uniform stolen during a break in in Grande Prairie

Several firearms and Alberta Sheriff uniforms were stolen during a break-in at a Grande Prairie home last night. The RCMP received a report of the burglary around 9:15 p.m., though they have not confirmed the specific location of the residence or whether any officers were involved.

The stolen firearms, which belong to the victim and are not Alberta Sheriff-issued, were among other items taken, including a laptop and bicycles. RCMP are investigating the types and number of firearms stolen and are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
