Tent collapse in Westlock kills 1 and injures a few others

One person has died and several others have been injured after a tent structure collapsed at the Westlock Meditation Centre near Busby yesterday. RCMP received a report of the incident around 5:30 p.m., attributing the collapse to severe weather conditions.

Emergency services, including nearby RCMP detachments, EMS, and fire crews, responded to the scene to assist those injured. Several individuals were transported to the hospital for treatment.

The RCMP is investigating the circumstances surrounding the collapse.
