Air quality statement for Edmonton and area

The poor air quality is expected to persist into this evening, although some improvement is anticipated later tonight. Officials warn that fine particles in the wildfire smoke present a significant health risk. Residents are advised to exercise caution and consider rescheduling strenuous outdoor activities.
