Whitecourt RCMP arrest 2 suspects in connection to a break and enter

On July 28th, Whitecourt RCMP responded to a report of a break-and-enter in progress at an oil lease site near Windfall Road. Upon arrival, officers identified and located a vehicle matching the description of one used to access the site.

A traffic stop was conducted, leading to the arrest of two residents from Sturgeon County. Theresa Savard and Jessie Rudichuk have been charged with break-and-enter with intent and possession of break-in instruments.

Both individuals have appeared before a Justice of the Peace and were released with conditions. They are scheduled to appear in court on August 17th.
