Costco testing membership scanners in Edmonton stores

Costco Wholesale is testing new membership scanners at the entrances of its stores across Canada, including Edmonton.

Guests must be accompanied by a valid member to gain entry. While there has been no official confirmation on which stores in Edmonton will implement the new system, online discussions have frequently mentioned the Costco location on 149th Street and Yellowhead Trail.
