Edmonton Fire Rescue Services confirmed that several buildings in southwest Edmonton were evacuated this morning following a gas leak.
Emergency crews were dispatched to Daniels Loop and Daniels Way SW at approximately 8:30 AM. ATCO crews arrived shortly thereafter to assist with the situation.
At this time, no further information has been released regarding the extent of the leak or the status of the affected buildings. Updates will be provided as more details become available.
