European-style circus coming to St. Albert this weekend

Cirque Italia is set to dazzle audiences in St. Albert with its 1950s-themed show this weekend. The circus will offer a high-energy performance featuring a variety of thrilling acts, including trampolining, acrobatics, rope-walking, roller skating, contortion, juggling, and the dramatic Wheel of Death—all set against a backdrop of a stage holding 35,000 gallons of water.

The show, suitable for all ages, will feature performers from Argentina, Brazil, and Romania, promising a diverse and captivating experience.

Cirque Italia will be stationed at St. Albert Centre until August 25. After its St. Albert event, the circus will move to West Edmonton Mall, running from August 29 to September 8, before continuing to Sherwood Park from September 12 to 15.

St. Albert show times:

  • Aug. 22 – 7:30 p.m.
  •  Aug. 23 – 7:30 p.m.
  •  Aug. 24 – 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m.
  •  Aug. 25 – 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m.

Every full-priced adult ticket comes with a free child admission.
