Health Canada recalls contact lenses

Health Canada has announced a recall of several types of contact lenses due to an isolated issue caused by a third-party solvent used in manufacturing. The recall affects Dailies Total1 One-Day Contact Lenses for Astigmatism, Soft Contact Lens delefilcon A Multifocal, and Total30 (Lehfilcon A) Soft Contact Lenses.

Alcon Laboratories, the manufacturer responsible for these products, identified the problem. Customers are advised to contact the manufacturer directly to check if their lenses are included in the recall. Additionally, Canadians can visit the recall website for specific model numbers. The recall was initiated on August 13.
