There are unconfirmed reports circulating on social media that former Flame Johnny Gaudreau and his brother, Matthew, have been killed while cycling in Salem County, New Jersey, near Philadelphia, PA.
CBS Philadelphia reports that two cyclists were struck and killed by a car after 8pm in Pedricktown, NJ, near Gaudreau’s childhood home of Salem. The report does not mention the names of the victims.
In the aftermath of the tragedy, Dylan H. Robillard and Steve Franklin took to X to report that Gaudreau had been involved in the collision. Robillard’s tweet has since been deleted.
