Strathcona County RCMP investigate threatening incident at Heritage Hills Elementary

Strathcona County RCMP are investigating a threatening incident at Heritage Hills Elementary School in Sherwood Park.

Early yesterday morning, around 5:30 a.m., a male suspect spray-painted a threatening message on the school’s sidewalk. Video footage obtained by police shows a man wearing a balaclava and carrying a can of spray paint, who also appears to have a limp or injury to his leg.

RCMP are working closely with school administration but do not believe that the safety of the school or its staff is compromised. The police are taking the threat seriously and are actively working to identify the individual responsible for the incident.
