Alberta RCMP continue searching for Elieja Blake Strawberry, connected to shooting in Rocky View County, Alberta

The Alberta RCMP continue their search for Elijah Blake Strawberry, a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting that led to the death of an employee in Rocky View County in August.

In a news release issued Friday, the RCMP revealed that a specialized team of investigators is dedicated solely to locating and arresting Strawberry. Despite pursuing numerous leads and conducting searches in Red Deer, the team has yet to achieve a breakthrough.

Authorities believe Strawberry remains within Alberta and is considered armed and dangerous. The RCMP is urging Albertans to stay vigilant and report any information that might assist in the search.

The deadline for a $10,000 reward for information leading to Strawberry’s arrest has been extended. Strawberry, 28, is described as standing 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing approximately 169 pounds, with brown hair, a light complexion, and multiple tattoos.

Know that any tips received from the public will be actively investigated.

RCMP have released a higher quality photo of Strawberry. 

Elijah Strawberry is described as:

  • Light complexion;
  • 6 feet 1 inch tall;
  • 169 pounds;
  • Brown Hair;
  • Several Tattoos. The most recognizable of these tattoos include: “Trust” on left  hand, “Honour and Loyalty” on right hand, X’s and cobweb on right forehead, geometric lines on left neck and face that extend onto his forehead.
