2 arrested in Sherwood Park in connection to a kidnapping

Two individuals have been arrested in connection with an attempted kidnapping that occurred in Sherwood Park on September 18.

At approximately 11:45 AM, RCMP received a report from a witness who observed an assault and a male being forced into a vehicle on Cloverbar Road. The victim managed to escape, and the suspects fled the scene. He was later found unharmed.

Police believe the victim was known to the suspects. Lorne Nadeau and Natalya Siskakiss, both residents of Sherwood Park, have been charged with kidnapping without a firearm and assault. Siskakiss is also facing an additional charge of break and entering.

The accused have been released on conditions and are scheduled to appear in court on October 16.
