Traffic disruptions expected Monday for Shell vessel transport

On Monday, motorists can expect traffic disruptions as Shell transports a large vessel from Draco Industries in Tofield to the Shell Scotford facility.

In a statement, Shell announced that traffic will be managed by lead and trail pilot vehicles, with rolling road closures implemented along narrow two-lane sections to prevent oncoming traffic.

The transport is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and is expected to take approximately five hours. To minimize delays, suitable approaches and side roads will be utilized to park oncoming vehicles.
