Honda and Acura models being recalled due to steering related issue

Hundreds of thousands of vehicles are being recalled in Canada due to a steering-related issue that could increase the risk of a crash. Just under 250,000 newer models of Acura and Honda vehicles are affected.

According to a news release from Honda, the issue may make it harder to steer, thereby raising the risk of crash or injury.

Drivers are urged to visit their dealerships to arrange for a free repair, which will involve adding grease and replacing the worn spring.

Affected vehicle owners will be contacted by mail regarding the recall and necessary actions.
