Edmonton police searching for ‘armed and dangerous’ man in connection to suspicious death

Police are searching for a man they describe as armed and dangerous in connection with a suspicious death in northeast Edmonton.

Authorities say 33-year-old Michael Ferreira is wanted for second-degree murder after a disturbance at a home near 34th Street and 128th Avenue on Tuesday morning. When officers arrived around 11:30 a.m., they found a severely injured man who was later pronounced dead in hospital.

An autopsy has yet to be scheduled for the victim.
