Alberta Animal Rescue Society seeks public’s help after theft at Edmonton shelter

The Alberta Animal Rescue Society is appealing to the public for assistance after a robbery at their Edmonton shelter left the non-profit short of vital donations.

Two women allegedly entered the shelter’s reception area and stole a safe containing over $1,000 in donations intended to support animals in urgent need. The women are also accused of taking the shelter’s payment machine and a credit card during the incident.

The shelter has released video footage of the suspects and is asking the public to help identify the individuals involved.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Edmonton police.
