The highly anticipated annual Oktoberfest celebration is back, offering a unique multigenerational event for the whole community. Taking place at the OLPH event space (lower level), this festive gathering invites guests of all ages to enjoy music, dancing, food, and beverages in a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere.
Doors open at 5:00 p.m., with kids’ activities and traditional Oktoberfest music setting the tone between 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Live performances, featuring the lively tunes of Sound Flight and traditional dance from The Schuhplattlers, will start after 6:30 p.m. and continue until midnight.
Guests are encouraged to dress in traditional Dirndl or Lederhosen and take to the dance floor, where all ages are welcome. To make the event more affordable amidst rising costs, the menu will feature simple, hearty fare reminiscent of a German beer hall. Admission includes a large Bavarian pretzel, and bratwurst on a bun along with additional pretzels will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
Kids can get in on the fun early in the night with activities such as face painting, cotton candy, and decorating Lebkuchenhertz—the iconic German gingerbread heart cookies.
