Edmonton police searching for man who assaulted ETS bus driver

Police are looking for a man who allegedly assaulted an Edmonton Transit Service bus driver on Saturday morning.

Edmonton Police Service (EPS) says officers responded to a call about an assault on a bus at around 7:40 a.m. near 117th Street and Jasper Avenue. The driver was injured and taken to the hospital by paramedics.

Police also say the same man is believed to be responsible for property damage at a library near 102 Avenue and 99 Street earlier that morning, around 6:10 a.m.

The suspect is described as being 38 to 45 years old, about 6’0″ with short brown hair and a muscular build. He was last seen wearing glasses, a blue sweater, grey sweatpants, rubber boots, and carrying a green shopping bag.
