RCMP rescued boaters stuck in North Saskatchewan River last week

RCMP report that they rescued boaters who were stranded in the North Saskatchewan River last week.

Parkland RCMP stated that a jet boat ran aground on a rock bed in the middle of the river on October 15. A water rescue team was dispatched to the scene, where the boaters were instructed on how to use their onboard winch. With this guidance, they successfully dislodged their boat from the rock bed and made it back to shore safely.
