Edmonton police dismantle encampment near Fulton Creek

Edmonton police have dismantled one of the city’s most elaborate encampments, discovered last week near Fulton Creek and 34th Street. The encampment, nearly fully camouflaged, featured four multi-level structures surrounded by a fence made from trees and broken branches.

According to police, the encampment lacked proper structural support, posing a risk of collapse. During the operation, officers issued 20 violation tickets and 10 warrants.

Authorities noted that individuals residing in the encampment were offered services and support, but the offers were declined.
