Alberta braces for snowfall, the real deal this time

The first accumulating snowfall of the season is anticipated on Tuesday morning, with expected totals of 2 to 5 cm. A low-pressure system moving through Alberta will bring wintry weather to the capital region starting early Tuesday.

Precipitation is likely to begin as rain on Monday evening, with a brief risk of freezing rain before transitioning to snow later that night. Snowfall totals of 2 to 5 cm are expected by late Tuesday morning.

Drivers should be prepared to adjust to changing road conditions.
