Fire at north Edmonton strip mall convenience store under investigation

A fire at a convenience store in a north Edmonton strip mall is currently under investigation. Firefighters responded to the blaze last night at around 9:40 PM at the intersection of 90th Street and 132nd Avenue.

Upon arrival, crews encountered heavy smoke emanating from the building. They worked for approximately four hours to bring the fire under control by about 11:20 PM, and it was officially declared extinguished by 1:50 AM.

Fortunately, there were no reported injuries associated with the incident. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
