The weird winter continues: snow, ice pellets, thaw

It’ll be a snowy day today, but don’t expect any large accumulation.  Allow for some extra time on the drive home this evening, as the snow will become mixed with ice pellets early this afternoon, and we may even have some freezing rain to ice up the roads a bit.  Temperatures rise all day and overnight into tomorrow’s high of 5 under gloriously sunny skies.  The above normal temperatures are expected to continue through the weekend into next week.  If this is what December has in store, I’ll take it!
