The CPKC Holiday Train is bringing holiday cheer to Josephburg tomorrow

On Thursday December 12, the CPKC Holiday Train will be at the Moyer Recreation Centre in Josephburg from 5:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. The festive train will feature an outdoor concert with Magic! and Sophia Camara.

Free onsite parking passes and shuttle wristbands are available on a first-come, first-served basis from Millennium Place and Ardrossan Recreation Complex.

Admission is free, and attendees are encouraged to bring healthy, non-perishable food items or donate directly to the Strathcona Food Bank.

Road closures run from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.:

  • Township Road 550 at Highway 830 and Railway Street intersections — pass holder traffic only
  • Partial closure of Railway Street — no vehicle access
  • Closure of Railway Street entrance from Highway 830 — accessible pass holder and Park ‘N Ride shuttle bus traffic only

Parking will not be permitted along the roadsides of Highway 830, Township Road 550 or Range Road 215.
