Strathcona County Snow Removal Starts Again on Monday

This Monday, snow removal will begin at 6 a.m. on certain collector roads in Sherwood Park. These roads and neighborhoods will be marked with large orange “No Parking” signs.

Residents are able to park on collector roads that were cleared before Christmas. They are marked with signs that will state “snow route when declared”.

It will take approximately 10 days to finish clearing. If there is snowfall over this time period, crews may be delayed. Crews will also be working 24/7 which may result in some nighttime noise.

Any vehicles that are parked on a collector road that is being cleared will be towed and a ticket of $250 will be issued.
