In October last year, an investigation in Sherwood Park was held to arrest an individual for Drug Trafficking. Eric Victor Beinert, a 34-year-old resident of Edmonton, has been charged with three counts of trafficking a controlled substance and the Possession and Distribution of a controlled substance.
Although Beinert was arrested in November, he has since been released from custody. He is scheduled to appear in court in Sherwood Park on January 22, 2025.
