Starting today, sending a letter through Canada Post costs 25 per cent more. Buying stamps by coil, booklet, or pane will now cost $1.24 compared to 99 cents per stamp. The cost of a single stamp is now $1.44, up from $1.15. The price raise is linked to Canada Post workers going on strike late last year.
