24/7 Ankle monitors may be required for convicted Albertans

Convicted or accused Albertans may be ordered to wear permanent ankle monitors with GPS tracking. The ankle monitors are mainly for those who pose a public-safety risk. It’s a response to what’s described as the country’s “catch-and-release” bail system.
