From midnight of January 16 till 8:00 a.m. this morning, Alberta RCMP responded to reports of 149 different collisions. Central Alberta District reported 71 collisions, the Eastern District reported 28 collisions, the Southern reported 24, and the Western reported 26. This number will grow as reports continue to come in. The RCMP are once again advising people to not travel unless absolutely necessary, and to be cautious.
