Teen involved in Westlock stabbing turns himself in

In September of last year, paramedics arrived at a scene in Westlock where an 18-year-old boy had been stabbed. As a result of the investigation, the RCMP identified four suspects. Three of them have already been arrested, yesterday the fourth turned himself in to the Edmonton RCMP. The 17-year-old Edmonton resident has been charged with the following:

  • Attempted murder
  • Robbery
  • Uttering threats
  • Aggravated assault
  • Possession of a weapon
  • Fail to comply with release order condition

The teen has been taken into custody and is scheduled to appear in court this Wednesday at the Alberta Court of Justice in Westlock.
