Edmonton Oilers’ Connor McDavid has been suspended for the next three games including tonight’s game against the Washington Capitals. The suspension is a result of McDavid cross-checking Vancouver Canucks forward Connor Garland in the head on Saturday night. McDavid was suspended for the rest of the game as well as the next three games for the intent to injure penalty.
Canucks defenceman, Tyler Myers, has also been suspended for the next three games for cross-checking Evan Bouchard.
