Is anybody else baffled by this winter’s weather?

The weather roller coaster continues on Thursday with a high of 2 degrees under a lot of cloud with a gusty northwest wind, making it challenging for those winter cyclists among us.  The clouds and wind stick around overnight as we drop to a low of -5.  Friday brings fewer clouds, but the same wind, and a high of -1.  The back half of the weekend and early next week still call for above freezing daytime highs, albeit not as warm as what was forecast earlier in the week (surprise, surprise).  Expect a cooldown by the middle of next week, although temperatures will be around or slightly above normal.
