According to a severance and termination pay report released on Tuesday, the County dolled out $1.1-million in 2024, 0.61 per cent of the total salary budget. Since 2020, the County has more than tripled what they pay for severance each year.
Because this line was outlined in last year’s budget reports, it will be added to all future budget reports.
