The Edmonton Oilers played an amazing game here in Edmonton last night winning 4-2 against the Seattle Kraken. Goalie Stuart Skinner was at the birth of his second son so Calvin Pickard was in net, only letting two goals in. McDavid was also back on the ice after his three-game suspension, putting another goal under his belt as well as Corey Perry and Mattias Janmark. To finish the game off beautifully, Ekholm scored an empty-net goal with only 58 seconds left, winning the game the same way they did the last time they faced the Kraken.
The win last night means the Oilers are back on top in the Pacific Division with 67 points, followed closely by the Golden Knights with 66 points.
The Oilers have two days off but will be back at Roger’s Place this Thursday facing the Detroit Red Wings at 7:00 p.m.
