The Goodwill Impact Centre located at 11415 168th Street NW, Edmonton sells items per pound instead of individual pricing. It’s the last stop for any unsold items from different Goodwill locations before they’re recycled. The layout and checkout at this centre are a little different compared to a standard consignment store. Large blue bins filled with items are placed throughout the store for people to look through. In the case of a new bin, shoppers line up at yellow markers and wait for the go-ahead to start sifting from a member of staff.
Once a shopper is ready to checkout, they head to the till and pay $1.65 per pound with the exception of furniture which is individually priced.
