One of Edmonton’s most popular vintage store was broken into

Yesterday around 3:30 a.m., a vintage store located at 10826 124 Street NW in Edmonton called Swish Vintage was broken into and stolen from. They put a post out on social media stating that there had been a break in and asked people to keep an eye out for a large amount of vintage jewellery.

According to surveillance footage, a man and a woman pried open the door, went straight for the jewellery cabinets and smashed them. They stole a large amount of jewellery, and the store believes they knew where to go right away because they scoped out the shop beforehand.

The stolen items consist of the following:

  • 1950’s rhinestones and glass
  • Vintage Birks vanity set and jewellery
  • 1970’s silver jewellery
  • Men’s Armani
  • Bulova
  • Marc Jacobs watch

The store is hopeful that the stolen jewels will turn up on Kijiji, Facebook Marketplace, or at vintage/pawn shops around the city. They have asked to be contacted if someone is selling a suspiciously large amount of vintage jewellery.
