3 Edmonton residents have been charged for drug trafficking

Three Edmonton residents, 43-year-old Brett Ogilvie, 21-year-old Owen Lloyd, and 47-year-old Robin Kelley have been charged with a combined 27 charges. These include possession for the purpose of trafficking, production of a controlled substance, and unauthorized possession of a firearm.

Late last month, police executed a search warrant at two Edmonton hotel rooms, a home, and a vehicle near 117 Avenue and 87 Street which uncovered the following:

  • Over 18 kg of meth estimated at $180,000
  • Over 3.5 kg of cocaine estimated at $229,000
  • Over 2 kg of fentanyl estimated at $24,000
  • 25 litres of GHB (gamma-hydroxybutyrate) estimated around $12,000
  • Nearly 60 grams of Alprazolam powder estimated at over $8,500
  • A gun

This drug operation was going on between Edmonton and B.C’s Lower Mainland.
