Police in Sherwood Park seek assistance in locating missing 16-year-old

7:35pm update: Strathcona County RCMP is advising that Lafortune was located safe.

Strathcona County RCMP is seeking pubic assistance in locating Tayden Lafortune, age 16. According to police, he left his residence around 10 p.m. last night (February 15, 2025) while not dressed appropriately for current weather conditions.

Tayden known to hang out near Salisbury High School, the library, and around the mall. He is described as:

  • 6 feet 2 inches tall and 160 pounds
  • Brown eyes with brown shaggy hair that covers his forehead
  • Last seen wearing blue baggy jeans, black wool coat with epaulets and converse shoes
