As a result of an over-height load causing extensive damage to the 34 Street overpass after Midnight this morning, Strathcona County RCMP have confirmed that the bridge will be closed indefinitely after undergoing an engineering inspection.
Edmonton-bound traffic is diverted through the offramp/onramp at 34 Street to continue along the Sherwood Park Freeway. 34 Street remains closed in both directions at the Freeway.
