Fort Saskatchewan & Lamont County Chamber Welcomes New Executive Director

The Fort Saskatchewan & Lamont County Regional Chamber of Commerce has announced the appointment of Colin Fagnan as its new Executive Director, effective March 3, 2025. Fagnan steps into the role with extensive experience in economic development, strategic leadership, and community engagement.

Previously serving as Member Services Manager at The Conseil de Développement Économique de L’Alberta (CDEA), Fagnan expanded a network of over 285 entrepreneurs and played a key role in organizing Alberta’s largest French-language business event. His diverse background includes experience in both the private and public sectors across five countries, alongside three degrees, including a master’s from the University of Alberta. He is also a strategic advisor for the European-Canadian Centre for Innovation and Research and owns Nyloc Consulting.

“We are thrilled to welcome Colin to the Chamber,” said Melissa Saretsky, President of the Chamber’s Board of Directors. “He is exceptional at building connections, his experience with CDEA will be an asset, and his commitment to fostering business success will be invaluable as we continue to serve our members and the wider community.”

The Chamber also expressed gratitude to outgoing Executive Director Marcie Mazurenko, who led the organization for 18 months. Mazurenko’s dedication and vision strengthened the Chamber during a critical period.

Community members are invited to meet Colin Fagnan at an open house on March 26 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce office, 9923 103 St in Fort Saskatchewan.
