Hay steps into the role with extensive municipal leadership experience, having served as Morinville’s General Manager of Administrative Services and as Interim CAO during transition periods in 2022 and 2024–2025. Her leadership has been credited with improving internal operations, strengthening governance, and advancing long-term planning.

As CAO, Hay will oversee all municipal operations and carry out Council’s directives. Her recent efforts have included supporting Council’s strategic priorities, enhancing financial oversight, and driving community engagement initiatives.
“I’m honoured to take on this role,” said Hay. “Working together with Council and staff, I’m committed to delivering results that matter to Morinville residents.”
Council emphasized that Hay’s experience and strategic vision will be key as the Town continues to grow and evolve. As the municipality’s top administrator, Hay will lead efforts to ensure effective service delivery and build on Morinville’s momentum.
