Fort Saskatchewan Residents Invited to choose new design for Pryce Alderson Park

The City of Fort Saskatchewan is inviting their residents to voice their opinions on new playground designs for Pryce Alderson Park. The update comes as the current playground structure is reaching the end of its life cycle and is due for a replacement.

On Friday, May 23rd, residents are invited to drop by Pryce Alderson Park between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. to view and vote on the proposed playground designs. The designs will be displayed on large boards in a temporary tent located in the park.

“This is a chance for residents to help select the look and feel of one of our popular neighbourhood parks,” said Jordan Halter, Engineering Coordinator at the City of Fort Saskatchewan. “We’re excited to involve the community in this part of the process—it’s their park, and we want it to reflect what they value most.”

Voting will be done in person only.

The designs were developed based on space requirements, safety standards, and play features.

Keep an eye out for the approved designs at fortsask.ca/PlaygroundVote.
