Alberta Health Services (AHS) shut down a Wendy’s in St. Albert on Tuesday, May 13th. The location was #800, 140 St. Albert Trail.
The exact cause of the closure is unknown, but AHS has confirmed that the location is set to re-open after a successful health inspection.
“AHS Environmental Public Health ordered the temporary closure of the Wendy’s…following a food safety complaint. The restaurant was required to address the concerns and complete a product risk assessment,” said an AHS representative.
“After a follow-up inspection confirmed compliance with food safety standards, the location has been cleared to reopen.”
It is unknown when the Wendy’s will re-open, however, the location is clear to do so whenever.
