Westlock RCMP was alerted to some information regarding cocaine trafficking within the town about 85 kilometers north of Edmonton.
RCMP was also alerted that the suppliers were located in Edmonton and St. Albert.
Westlock RCMP executed five search warrants on May 22, 2025, with assistance from Edmonton and St. Albert RCMP, and the Edmonton warrants being assisted by EPS Tactical Unit.
105 grams of cocaine were seized during the raid, as well as seven firearms, three forged identification documents, 19 cartons of unstamped cigarettes, and approximately $12,700 in Canadian currency.
Two individuals were arrested due to the investigation, with both individuals being released on conditions. Nathan Stephani will be in court on June 11, while Michael Patrick Krysa’s court date is set for June 16.
Arrest warrants are out for two more individuals, 28-year-old Nicole Bombay and 27-year-old Austin McFarlane. All four suspects are residents of Westlock.

Anthony Hanson, Acting District Officer for Eastern Alberta District. “These arrests and searches have allowed us not only to remove drugs and weapons from our streets but also bring to account those responsible”.
