Legacy Park Family Festival returns in 2025

Fort Saskatchewan’s Family Festival is coming back in 2025, with the date set for Saturday, June 7 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m..

Featuring food, entertainment, community involvement, service group booths, and plenty of activities, it’s a great way for residents to start off the warm summer months.

Fort Saskatchewan’s famous sheep will be having their parade during the day as well. The Sheep Return Parade is set to start at 1 p.m. on the road between Legacy Park and the Warden’s House.

There will be inflatable bouncy houses, caricature artists, a petting zoo, and face painting and glitter tattoos.

New this year is a 50-foot Atomic Rush obstacle course to race your family and friends on, and a new sensory room run by Autism Edmonton for individuals who may get overwhelmed by all the action.

YouthFest is hosting a chalk art contest for the second year in a row. Participants will create artworks on the CN Station parking lot, as well as chalk being readily available for anyone who wants to have some fun drawing in the free play area.
