The City of St. Albert has made the decision to lift all of the remaining fire restrictions as a result of the recent cooler weather and rain that has flown into the Edmonton area.
There are now no fire bans, restrictions, or advisories in effect.
Despite the lift of any fire restrictions, St. Albert Fire Department are still warning residents to be careful when lighting fires. They are also asking to ensure that any smoking materials (cigarettes, cannabis, cigars, matches and lighters) are fully extinguished and disposed of properly.
The City of St. Albert also reminds residents that unauthorized use of pyrotechnics and fireworks within the city are prohibited at all times.
